The Green Seeds Project
This workshop aims to raise the profile of healthy living within the local community and create a direct relationship between food, conservation and production. Within a safe and enjoyable environment students are encouraged to raise awareness of locally grown food and foster links with the communities they live in. By learning in a community garden setting, students benefit from increased health, social interaction and a sense of pride in growing and selling a range of healthy fruit and vegetables.
