”The Dream of Wong Tong“ was first screened at the Cameo Cinema December 10th of 2006. Over one hundred people attended the film’s premiere and it was recieved with outstanding enthusiasm and excitment. Actors and Actresses, Family and Friends and even the Edinburgh Evening News assembled on a rainy to day to witness on the big screen performance, drama, music and dynamic movement captured on film.

”The Dream of Wong Tong“ is a documentary film which tells the story of a talented and determined community of adults whose creativity, imagination and talent was to be harnessed for the creation of a magical collective community feature film entitled ”Wong Tong!“. Unfortunately the project, sponsored by the Edinburgh Centre for Community Living (now called Edinburgh Supported Living), ran out of funding bring the project to an end on the 25th of August, 2006.

Now back in business Upward Mobility will see that the dream will continue and with it the creation of ”WONG TONG!“
