Upward Mobility - Arts Programme

Our Community Arts Programme provides a vehicle of expression to adults who may experience difficulties communicating. The programme is composed of a variety of creative workshops taking place from Monday – Friday with three hour sessions in the morning and afternoon. The make-up and location of each class is determined by content, student numbers and disabled access.

All of our arts workshops run over a 10-week term. Students can join at any time, however we encourage students to make a commitment for the full 10 weeks at the beginning of each 10-week cycle. Different skills are developed in different workshops, however throughout the focus is on confidence through fun and creativity. Many students leave workshops with skills that come as a by product, such as increased social skills, concentration and empathy. We are adding new workshops all the time and if you have any ideas for one that you would like to see implemented, please contact us and we will work with you to try and make it happen!
