Dance and Tai Chi through Creative Movement

Who is it for?
Anyone interested in new ways to focus, relax, and express themselves.
A typical session:
We begin gently by warming up and waking up our bodies to calming music. We then move onto energising work, with an emphasis on group dynamics and moving together as an ensemble and building confidence We finish with some high-energy dance and movement games involving mirroring, timing skills, special dynamics and some great tunes!
What will I learn?
Students are encouraged to explore being tactile within appropriate boundaries, learn about spatial awareness, eye contact, improvisation, leading/following, turn-taking and performing for others using objects such as balls and balloons.
